Part 1: Dreams as Life Should Be…

John set alone in the long corridor with only one DRD that had become his consistent companion in this never-ending time of being so alone.

When he had dropped through this rabbit hole it had been one rollercoaster ride after another. The scifi writers didn’t even come close to this wonderful, crazy nightmare of a life he had been given. Family is what he had called everyone on Moya; well now his family were all but gone. Love, now that was an oxymoron if he had ever thought it was. Here in this space he finds a woman, not even human at that, to fall hopelessly in love with. She claims she loves him in turn. How many times have they saved each other, taught each other or just been there when things went to total extreme?

She looked so human and at times acted emotionally human, but then (there was) just one little word or actions making him remember she was a Sebacean. An alien. A soldier with no free emotions, and he would remember that she was not human. Still no matter (what) he was deeply in love with her. She had made the unequivocal decision to leave him after the ironic dilemma that had to happen only to them.

Now here he sits with this stupid DRD.

A man is no island. He laughed bitterly at the very phase. He indeed had gone mad. There was nothing here to keep him anchored any more. Here’s to fate he thought, as his eyes grew heavy from needed sleep. Yeah he like to sleep a lot so he could dream of the way things should be.

                                          *****

John looked around at the warm sun bringing his surroundings in bright contrast to where he had been before. He never realized that the earth could be so green or the sky so blue, deep rich colors that warm his heart. He heard laughter coming from behind him. Turning he saw his father with one of his grandchildren. John wondered which sister this kid belonged to. He was still trying to get them straight.

Jack Crichton looked back up to see his son staring at him again. He could understand for (as) he caught himself doing the same thing. Five long years of always wondering, grieving over the lost at to what had really happen, but now he had him back and for the time that was all that matter. Jack patted his granddaughter on the head and told her he will join them shortly. He walked over to John stopping short.

“What are you thinking about so intensely, John?”

Smiling John Crichton reach out his had to touch his father’s arm as if to make sure that he was really there. In a soft shaky voice he said. “You have no idea how much I have dreamed of this. Sometimes I find it hard to believe that I am here on earth with my family and friends again.”

“I think I do. I have dreamed of you walking into a room excited over something about the Farscape project, or sitting with me to watch the football game. Now here you are and I  still find that mind jolting.” Jack Crichton whisper back emotionally.

Clearing his throat John looked over at the gathering Crichton clan. “Which kid was that?”

Taking his eyes off his son for a moment he looked back at the group. “Sarah. She belongs to Karin.” With a twinkle in his eyes to turned back to John. “Why are you still having trouble trying to keep them straight?”

John gave his father a lopsided smile. “Well, shoot me. It has been a long time. Some of these kids were not even here or so newly born I don’t remember them so much (very well).”

“Aeryn doesn’t seem to have that problem.” Jack said as he walked toward the noisy group.

John’s head came up as he moved beside his father. The very thought of Aeryn brought a face splitting smile on his face, and sure enough there she was sitting in front of him with that beautiful smile of her own.  She was with one of the children listen to whatever she was telling her with a patience that amazed him. And she thought she wouldn’t fit in his world. Leaving his dad’s side he made his way over to her and sit behind her taking her hand into his.

“You ok? Not to hot for you is it?”

She leaned back into him. “No, John. You don’t need to keep asking every time you see me. I will just go into the house if I do.”

He kissed the back of her neck. “I know, but yeah I am in love with you and that makes me concern. “

“I love you too, but I don’t ask you if you are ok all the time do I?” She sighed as he kissed her own her cheek. A sound of ‘Yuck’. Broke them apart as two of the younger children stood in front of them. Laughing John reached out tickling the little boy as the girl backed away.

“What do you mean yuck?” John asked him.

Timmy his nephew laughed. “Kissing a girl is yucky, uncle John.”

“So you say now. When you get older you will think differently. “He sits the boy onto his lap. Amazed at how much he had missed while he had been away.

Aeryn reached up and took the plate from Jack with a smile. She could not believe that they had made it to Earth and in no time they were here with John’s family. It was too amazing how this all came about. Almost to unbelievable in that IASA had welcomed them to earth and allow them to live in some secure peace. Truthfully, there had been some trouble when the American government wanted to take them away but the UN had a say in this. They were not going to let any one country hide this great treasure from them. John had let them know where they stood and now here they were. They were protected from the crazies as John called them but for now they were safe to live some kind of life. John was happy to share what he had learned as long as it helped the whole planet and not just some power hungry group.

John reached around her to take a bit off her plate. Laughing she smacked his hand away.

“Eat your own.”

He stole a kiss from her. Yes he thought this was indeed one of the good times.

Part 2: Whose Reality Is It Anyway…

Crichton felt something hitting him hard. He open one eye and looked down at the DRD beside him. Growling he asked. “What do you want?”

Pilot’s voice came over his comm. “I am sorry, Commander, but Moya and I were growing concerned about you.”

John sat up straighter with some pain radiating from his lower backside. No matter where floors were they were way to hard to fall a sleep on; rubbing his face he slowly stood up.

“No, that’s ok, Pilot. What time is it anyway?”

“You have missed your noon meal and we thought it would not be good if you missed your evening meal."

“Thank Moya for me, Pilot.” He stopped in the corridor. “Hey, Pilot, if it’s alright with you I would like to take my meal with you.”

“We would be honored, Commander.” Pilots voice came back warmly.

As he made his way to center camber to collect his meal he decided it was time he got with Pilot and make a decision where they could head to next. He remember something about Moya and Pilot like to go into deeper unknown space to explore… Well, he was already in unknown space why not go deeper, and just maybe he could lose himself away from all the boogiemen of the Unchartered Territories.

Once in Pilot’s den he sat on the edge of the console eating some food cubes. One thing for sure they would stop at a commerce planet and stock up on some real food before they head to the unknown deep space. Pilot’s hands dance around as he thought about what Crichton had to say. He also knew that Crichton, like many species, needed to socialize with other people so they are not totally alone. Then again he was an explorer like him in some ways and the thought of exploring deep space was something Moya and he would love to do. Moya was concerned for John Crichton because they had noticed he had started sleeping a lot more then (than) normal for him.

Pilot looked over at the human. “We are intrigued at the offer, Commander. It would be pleasant to be able to explore away from the Peacekeepers and Scarrans.”

John smiled. “Yeah, Pilot, to go were no man has gone before has always been one of my favorite mottos.”

Tilting his large head down he press a few more controls. “What about the others? What if they decide to come back to use? We would not be here and they will only search in vain for us.”

John‘s face grew sad then hard. “They had to get on with their lives and have done so. We have to think of ourselves now. Who knows maybe even in our exploration we might find earth. Come on Pilot what do you and Moya say?”

A sad smile came onto his face. “We say yes. We would like to take you up on your offer. Moya suggests we stop at some commerce planets to get what is needed for our trip and to take it leisurely. “

Crichton patent smile came onto his face. “Hey, I am all for that. We have no time table to keep and there is no one wanting to get nowhere in a hurry.”

He jumped down from the console and stretched. “I think I’ll clean my mess up and head to quarters. Is there anything you or Moya need at this moment?”

“No, Commander, we are fine. As soon as we come across a safe commerce planet we will let you know.”

Reaching out his hand it came to rest on one of Pilot’s. “Thanks, Pilot, I don’t know what I would have do if it weren’t for you or Moya. See you in the morning.

He turned and waved over his shoulder as he took his plate away with him before he went to bed. Pilot nodded his head at what Moya was saying to him. ‘Yes, we will take it very slow so that maybe one of the others will come back for John. ‘At least they hope that would happen.

Outside in the corridor John’s little companion followed him around. Hey, John reflected this pet could cleanup after himself and he didn’t have to worry about feeding him all the time. He slowly made his way to quarters with his fingers reaching out and running them along Moya’s inter skin, his mind wondering back of his and Aeryn’s stay on earth. Now that was a pleasant notion. Yawning again he entered into his quarters and just fell face first into his bed. He was a sleep the moment he made touch down.

******

John was in bed when he reached out his hand for Aeryn. She wasn’t there, only a cool spot. He turned over looking around the dimly sunlit room for her. Spotting her he flopped back onto his back.

“Sunshine, what are you doing up so early?” He mumbled out.

She had maps and a notebook spread out over her lap as she sits across the room from him. “One of your sisters was showing me were you want to take me. I just wanted to know where on this planet of yours it is.”

“Honey, can’t it wait until later. Come back to bed."

She didn’t give the impression of being aware of him speaking to her. Rolling back over John’s feet hit the cold floor; he glanced at the bedside clock. It was way too early to be up. Grabbing the sheet around his waist he stumbled over to her. “Aeryn baby, why are you so apprehensive about this trip.”

He got on his knees by her chair looking at all the maps and whatnot there. She held a pencil in her hand. “You know this is an island. There will not be many ways to get off of it or to hide if we are attacked.”

He hitched the sheet up a little tighter and put his hand over hers.“ Aeryn, that has all been thought out and planned. We will have a small Army protecting us twenty-four, seven. There will be no need for you to worry about it.”

She sits back in her chair giving him that stare she was oh so good at. “Ok, you want me to get the head security guy over here to go over the plans with you?”

Shaking her head she stood up quickly putting all the papers and books on her chair. Turning she looked down at John. “All right you can set up a time for us to meet and discuss this later on today. “

She reached down for his hand helping him to stand only to have him trip on the sheet causing it to drop. Aeryn’s eyebrows went up. “And I think we can fill in the rest of the time with the new exercised processions you had talked about.”

A smile came over his face as he grabbed a hold of her hand pulling backing into the bedroom. Just before his lips came down onto hers in a kiss he mumbled. “Oh, yeah!”

Part 3: Daydreams Are For the Foolish…

Over the sleep cycle Pilot had monitor Crichton. It was delightful that he was not having the ugly nightmares, but was it really a good thing that all he wanted to do was to sleep. Each day they had to wake him and to let him know it was time to eat. Now after four weekens and some spectacular views from space John seemed to come back to the living, as he would say. But on the quiet times a DRD would find him setting in a corridor or on the terrace just staring out not aware of anything else around him.  Concern Pilot asked him repeatedly if he was all right.

John said with an embarrassed laugh. “Yeah, Pilot, I was sort of daydreaming there.”

The creature stared at him puzzled. “Daydreaming?”

“Its like you dream while you are awake. You just sort of let your mind drift into pleasant thoughts and see where it goes. It’s not a bad thing. It’s a way humans cope with long periods of time alone it helps us from going totally insane, and trust me that could be a very short trip for me.”

Nodding his head in understanding Pilot unequivocally decided to kept a DRD with Crichton at all times. He hoped beyond hope that someone would come back for him. John really needed one of his former crewmates and Aeryn came to his mind. Fate or not they truly needed each other even if they didn’t want to believe it any more.

                                                         *****

The weather was beautiful. The temperature was perfect, not too hot and not too cold just in the seventies. John could take Aeryn to the beach and truly show her what she had been missing all her life. And man he just realizes what he had been missing stuck on this planet without her.

Aeryn lay under the beach umbrella with John stroking her belly. At first she refused to put on this ‘bikini’. But John begged her to at lease try it on in the room, he had been dreaming for this moment. She had to omit he was really good at begging and she couldn’t just refuse him, so she did. Round stomach and all. Looking up from her reflection in the mirror to see what he was thinking was all for her to give in. He had looked at her in many different ways but never like this and that strangely touched her in the deepest, extraordinary way that she had ever felt before.

“Hey, babe, did you feel that?” John had said excitedly.

Laughing Aeryn reached her hand out to stroke the side of John’s head. She could not love him more then she did now. He always made her feel so special and she was glad she discovered that before she made the biggest mistake in her life by leaving him. It had been hard and scary to finally break down and tell him she was expecting, but harder still to let him know that it might not be his. A tear had escaped waiting for him to turn and walk away from her.

But he had just stood there staring at her for the longest time before he ultimately reached out and caught the tear on the tip of his finger.

“Aeryn if it is mine or not I want to be there for you and the baby.I  promise cycles ago I would never leave you and I mean that for the baby too. I am hopelessly in love with you. Without you, my life would have no meaning. Now with this child I feel so complete with you.” He had reached over and kissed her. Now here they lay on this beach, on his homeworld safe from the evils of the universe, getting ready for the baby to be born. How could fate finally have given them so much after the worst had been done to them? It was like a dream. A dream she never wanted to wake up from.

John rolled over onto his back with a deep continent sigh. Never in his fondest dreams did he really believe this day would come and here he was on earth with the woman he loved with a baby on the way. For once life was good. Maybe too good. But why question it? All he wanted to do was live for the moment every moment he had with his new family. Which brought to mind. Rolling back over to look at Aeryn he was wondering if she would agree to this earth tradition. He knew they didn’t believe this in the Peacekeepers but they did believe in it in regular sebacean civilian lives.

Aeryn could feel John’s eyes on her. Turning her head she returned his look. She hated the sunglass he wore it was hard to tell what he could be thinking. A soft smile play around his beautiful lips, not knowing what he wanted she reached up and over to kiss him. He gave in so readily that he took her in his arms, deeping the kiss.

Part4: Whose Lost In a Dream…

They had stopped at a commerce planet with no problems getting everything they needed. It had made Crichton a little worried that there were no wanted beckons or that no one actually knew who he was. It had taken him three solar days to complete the run of supplies. He decided with Pilot and Moya’s blessing he would stay one night on the planet just enjoying some of the people’s company. They had welcomed him somewhat warmly and he did like the local drink in the refreshment house he had stopped at to find out information.

The next day after Crichton had came back on board Pilot could see quite a different change in him. He seemed more relax and full of new energy. In command he moved about from one console to another. “Hey, Pilot.”

Pilot’s image came over the clamshell. “Yes, commander?”

“I have heard some talk about a system with a planet known as the Library. How about us going to check it out?”

Pilot’s arms dance about. “I too have heard talk of it from traffic I monitored on the planet.”

“What did you hear?” He asked with true interest. Moya made the comment to Pilot she could see some of the old John peeking out. Happy about this Pilot told him everything he had learned about what he could, which turned out wasn’t much.

“Do you think it could be true and safe?"

“Well, Commander, the only way we are going to know is go there and see.”

John smiled. “Great. Lets take it very cautiously, keep a long-range scan out. If there is anything that makes you worry let me know.”

“No, problem with that.” Pilot had answer him back with an Erp saying. Laughing he headed back toward the maintence bay to work on Farscape I with the new parts he had just bought.

******

Aeryn liked Jack Crichton in a searching way she somehow had started to look upon him as something as a father. He had helped her the most at getting comfortable with life on earth. At first he didn’t know just how to act but when he observed how John stayed very close to her he welcome her like a long lost daughter.

Now that took some getting use to. She was never one to lean on anyone for anything but over time she learned to accepted help when it was needed. He acknowledged her with no reservation for he once said that she made John happy. Happier then he had ever saw him and he seemed so complete with her and now the baby on the way which was more then any father could hoped for his son. To him she was the best thing that could have come out such a horrendous situation.  He also knew when she said she was there to protect John no matter what he believed her, especially when John had told him some of the stories that had made up his life in the Uncharted Territories.  Stories that were still coming out but with long painful truths that Jack knew not to push John or Aeryn to speak of; he wasn’t really sure if he wanted to know all of them.

Jack Crichton watched his son put his arm around Aeryn walking away with her. Their heads had been so close together he could only wonder what they could have been talking about when John had stopped and laughed out loud. A sound he thought he wouldn’t ever hear again. Strange, he never dreamed he would have to accept an alien as his son’s lover, wife. Who would have ever thought? Shaking his head he went back into the house as their escort drove them away for some much needed R& R.He had to look back once more to see the cars turn the corner.  He hoped Aeryn would agree to what John wanted to ask her.

*****

Pilot try to alert Crichton of an approaching ship but so far he had not answer any of his hails. John’s little shadow moved about the maintence bay looking to see where he could have gotten off too. Through its eye stems Pilot saw that Crichton had fallen a sleep in the module’s cockpit. The DRD manage to get close enough to send out an electrical charge to awaken him.

Jumping up with a shout. “I am awake. I am awake. What’s going on, Pilot, that you had to wake me up from a good dream?”

“I thought you might want to know a ship is headed our way and is requesting if he can come aboard.”

John climbed out quickly demand. “Who is he?”

Pilot glanced at him. “Stark.”

“Stark? How did…never mind, is he coming aboard now?”

“Yes, docking web has been deployed.”

Crichton rushed out with his hand on Wynona.  He remembered Chiana and his’ last commerce trip together had caused them to come across a game Stark had created for them. He was not going to take any chances with this crazy man.

Stark came out of the ship glancing around him when he spot John waiting near the doorway. A smile came onto his face. “Crichton, it is good that I have found you.”

“Oh, you have been looking for me, why?” he asked cautiously. He could see that the Banik seem to have an air of calmness about him, something he had never seen related to this man.

“I thought you had joined Zhaan in Never Never Land.” He said, as he walked further into the bay area.

Stark stop just in front of him. “It was Zhaan that sent me here to find you.”

“Why?”

“Because you are in great trouble or will be if you don’t stop having these impossible dreams.”

Crichton grabbed Stark by his shirt. “What does that mean? Have you been playing in my dreamscape? I am so tired of people coming in and out of my mind as if it was a free frelling public park.”

”Please, Crichton, I am only here to help you. “

John just stood there looking at him for the longest moment. “Whose lost in a dream? I don’t feel like I am, only some frelling-walking nightmare. Why are you really here, Stark? Do you still blame me for Zhaan’s death?”

Stark looked at him in horror. He realized what John had been talking about. In a sadden voice he said. “I am so sorry about that game, Crichton. I can only say that I was mad with grief of Zhaan’s death. It took me a while to get over it and Zhaan help me. Maybe that is one reason she wanted me to come here to help you in your great sorrow too.”

Pushing him away from him. He backed away with a blank, cold glare on his face. “I have no great sorrow. You can stay if you want just leave me the hell alone.” With that he fled the room leaving a heartbroken Stark behind. He prayed to Zhaan that they weren’t to late again to help their friend.

Part 5:Dreams Are Whatever You Make Them To Be…

John went to his quarter’s not wanting to speak to any one at the moment. Just when things look good someone or thing had to come along to be a party pooper. He took off Wynona and climbed in his bed. He didn’t pay any attention to his little shadow that had followed him in. Pilot and Moya watch as John retreated into another dream. Pilot waited for Stark to join him as he continued to monitor Crichton.

*****

Aeryn stood in front of a mirror and looked with distaste at the dress she was given to wear. It looked too much like the one, only large around the waist, that John had gotten her to wear on the false earth.

John stood by the bedroom doorway with a ghost of a smile on his face. He knew what Aeryn was thinking it was all over her face. The same look she had all those cycles ago on the false earth.

Aeryn’s eyes came up to meet John’s. “If you imagine I am going to wear this dress you can dream on.”

Turning away from the mirror she made her way over to the closet to find something else. John came up behind her putting his arms around her large middle resting his hands on her belly. “Will you marry me, Aeryn Sun?”

Aeryn’s hand froze in what they were doing. Had she heard him right? Did he ask her to become his mate? But wasn’t she already? She turned in his arms and looked him deeply into his eyes and said. “I thought we were already married, John. I love you, we are lovers and we are starting a family. What more do we need to do?”

Softy John rocked them back and forth until he had maneuver them across the room to sit on the bed facing each other, not once did he let her go.

“Here on earth we have the custom called marriage. When a couple, you and me, love each other and wants to start a family they get married with a ceremony saying some words with family and friends witnessing the pledge to each other. Afterwards there is food, fun and more food and fun. We get to slip out for our honeymoon while everyone stays behind to have more food and fun.”

“Honeymoo?” She asked with a mystify smile.

“Yeah, something we are doing now.” He leaned in to kiss her so inviting lips.

“If I agree will the whole planet have to be invited?” She kissed him in return.

“No, just my family and DK …it could be as small or large as you want. I don’t care what the world wants. This is just you and I.” His kisses were fast becoming more passionate.

After a few breathless taking moments they surface for air Aeryn forehead lean against Johns. “Yes, John Crichton, I want to marry you forever and ever. And, John, there will be the three of us now.”

John’s brought his hand around to rest on her baby mound. “Yes, the three of us. I love you beyond words. You are what has made my life to have so much meaning after so much pain.”

Neither had eyes for anyone but themselves.

*****

“Crichton! Crichton, you have to wake up!” The voice kept shrilling at him as he felt his body being shaken. He came up immediately grabbing the source of his tormenter.  Stark let out a scream as he try to get away.

John stood over him when Stark backed into the wall. “ What in the frell do you think you are do,

Stark?”

Stuttering Stark repeated. “Dreaming…dreaming…dreaming… you are dreaming the impossible dreams again. They are too dangerous for you.”

“Yeah right. I told you to stay away from me. I will do what the frell I want to do. My dreams are mine! Do you understand? They are mine to do what I will with them.”

John backed away from him. His eyes held a cold rage in them. “Go get out of my room. When and if I ever decide to talk I will just leave me ALONE!”

Stark fled out of Crichton’s quarters and make is way to Zhaan burn out ones. He was trying to clam is heart rate down. Wishing Zhaan was here instead of him. John scared him more now then he ever before. There was a deep burning anger ready to destroy whoever comes close to it.

Stark made it to Zhaan’s old quarters where he fell onto the bed with his head in his hands. “Oh, Zhaan, my love he is so full of anger what am I to do?”

He felt a peace tranquility fall over him as he leaned back. Closing his eye for a moment he could feel Zhaan there in that very room with him. His hand came out of instinctive to carcass her head that lay on his shoulder. Opening his eyes open to find her figure lying there.

“Stark, my love, you have the strength of both our spirits within you. He is so young, so innocent of this universe but I feel strength of understanding in him like no other I have known before or since. He has lost so much. Suffered so much. Yet he has come back time after time. These humans are amazing creatures. Don’t force him, Stark, just be there to help him, give him strength in the time of his greatest need. This is all we can do for him.”

Stark felt the heavenly scent that of Zhaan settle around him drawing him to a restful sleep.

John set on the terrace leaning against the back wall looking over beauty of space lost in its cold reaches. Where had it all gone crazy? Why did he have to be conveyed here in this nightmarish universe? Why did he have to love only to lose it so quickly?

He closed his eyes in despair all the hurt and anger coming to surface. Questions upon questions never no answers only dreams… He felt himself slipping away from the hell that had enslaved him to long. This was his only freedom. This was where he could make what he wanted of his dreams…

Part 5: Dreams Are Not What They Seem…

John Crichton was the happiest man in the universe. Aeryn his greatest love was now his wife, his lover, his mate and the mother of his children now and to come. His family had gotten to see all of this happen. All was right in his world.

Turning over he fell out of bed. Looking around in the darken room something wasn’t right. His instincts screamed out a warning like no other time. Turning and diving for the bed he could not see Aeryn anywhere. Getting to his feet he started calling her name…but no answer came back. It was quiet, to quiet.

He tore around the rooms like a mad man. Where was Aeryn? Why wasn’t anyone answering his calls?

He ripped open the door going outside. It was dark and so quiet. No one was around it was as if you were in the middle of nowhere.

He fell on his knees screaming out in pain…. “AERYN!!!!”

Someone was shaking him sharply. The brightness of the sun was had momentarily blocked by someone or something bending over him. He heard noises grow as each layer he climbed to awaken from this pure nightmare he had been caught in.

Sitting up quickly he reach for his weapon that wasn’t there, it took a microt for everything around him to come into focus. Aeryn sat back wondering what was wrong with John, one moment he had fallen asleep under the warm sun and then microts later he was moaning out her name.

She patiently waited for him to focus and to calm down before she reached out to him. He looked around wildly for a moment then asked. “Where are we? Are we on earth?”

“No, John.” She reached out to stroke the side of his head trying to get him to focus only on her. “We are on Terradom. We are on vacation here as you called it. It was just a nightmare, John, you are in no danger and I am here with you.”

The madness started to leave his eyes, as he looked deep into her’s. He could here the ocean waves in the background and voices of people mewling around them on the beach.

A dream, just a dream. A frown came over his face as he sits back on his knees. That was the weirdest one he had ever had. A dream in a dream…or was a dream.

“John, do you want to talk about it?”

John stood up and looked down the beachfront. It almost looked like earth only the building in the distance was really different. He looked back down at Aeryn in a bikini and smiled.

“Go with me here, Aeryn, but uhh…I thought you had left me like the others did.”

”I did but I came back. This is the first time we have ever gone away alone to be together in about six monens. What is wrong?”

“Then you are pregnant but you are just not showing yet, right?”

“Yes, John, the baby is in stasis. No, we have not had the genetic test done to know weather it is yours or not. We are taking this slow to work through the problems we have. We are all back on Moya. What has happened to you, John?”

He looked around at the other people walking by. “Sebeceans?”

“Yes, a breakaway colony.  You liked the fact that we can blend in and you liked the name of the planet because it sounded something like earth. “She shrugged her shoulders over that last bit of information.

Still looking confused he just started at his surrounding. “Dreams… I was on Moya. All of you were gone I was totally alone. While I was there I would daydream that you and I made it back to earth and was living the perfect life.”

He cleared his throat and continued. “Dream within a dream. Stark showed up telling me that I had to stop dreaming the impossible dream that it would led to a lot of trouble for me. Then you were gone, the prefect dream was gone and I was all alone again.”

He glanced down at her. “Is this reality or am I still dreaming?”

Aeryn stood up facing him with a solemn look on her face. She reach out and took John’s face between her hands. “You are not dreaming now. We are here together on this planet working through our problems.   Being on earth and you being alone are just dreams. Know this, John Crichton, no matter whatever may come we will be together. This is something you can trust me on. Never again will I ever leave you. Hopefully in time you will come to except this.”

Wanting…needing to believe in something again he just nodded his head believing what she was saying for the moment.

They kissed each other tenderly. “I think I am going to take a run down the beach maybe a little air will help me clear my head.”

Smiling she nodded her head. He turned and jogged away from her. John trotted a short distance when he noticed a figure was coming over to him. He stopped, seeing the figure as none other then Scorpius dressed in a hat and flower shirt. Frell, not him again.

Finis or not…
